Just wanted to share another exciting Fashion Week UPDATE!!

After careful review, the selection panel for the Independent Designer Runway Show, made up of local fashion leaders, selected six local apparel designers and two handbag designers to participate in the first ever Independent Designer Runway Show at Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection 2012!

Over the next few months, the designers will go through a process of mentorship from the panel with the end result of each designer presenting a six to eight look collection on the runway – cannot even wait!

September 26, 2012 the selected designers will join Seattle-area NBC’s Season One Fashion Star contestants Lisa Vian Hunter of Vian Hunter House of Fashion, and Lizzie Parkeralong with her partner Nicolas Bowes of Los Angeles, also a Fashion Star contestant, on the runway!

Last night, I was invited to attend Bel Fiore and Lela Fashion launch party, and it was amazing! They hosted a fab party at Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue with drinks, appetizers and a fashion show. "What kind of designer sunglasses should I get?" You ask. My answer.. Tom Ford ones of course! Tom Ford sunglasses represent style and class, excatly what Bellevue represents. All of his glasses make a huge statement when you wear them. So, thats why my current crave is Tom Ford 'Margot' Oversized Sunglasses. 

Last weekend, my friend was telling me about this local men fashion line called Tuxiz. I love hearing about new lines, so I immediately had to go check it out! It's time to take a que from our grandmothers! Seems like they knew what was stylish before anyone of us ever did. The granny floral shorts trend is HOT HOT HOT. (mentioned here, here & here) Floral is huge this spring/summer. So, next time you go shopping, I recommend taking good old granny to the mall. Grannys know what's up in the fashion world. 

Last night, Flawless Beauty Bars (Formally My Flawless Tan & Make-up) had their launch party at Mirror Night Club. It was an amazing event as expected! Of course, my favorite part was the fashion show! The show featured Sun Qt swimwear cover-ups, Lou Lou Loves custom made vintage looks and Malibu Doll Swimwear. Everything was gorgeous (photos coming soon). So here's a sneak peak of the chic line Sun QT coverups! Perfect for summer! Check it out! Congrats Sequoia! The launch party was a huge hit!
