So, I guess it would be okay to downgrade the height level of shoes to flats in the Summer...Espically, these ones! Tory Burch, Patent LEATHER MILLER SANDAL in pink. My new must have!

For our first video, we decided to show two easy ab workouts that will get you fit and beautiful for Summer! As you will watch, you will see Karrie showing us how to do the pilates boat and the slow bicycle. Also, im totally sporting my Zaggora hotpants in this video. The launch event will be a red-carpet affair at the Bellevue Arts Museum and offer guests a sneak-peak at the platform. Guests will also be able to enjoy a live bachelor and bachelorette auction where influential young entrepreneurs will be auctioned off for a fun “date.” Attendees can also participate in a silent auction while networking with some of Seattle’s young influencers.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to funding the YesLeaders.org platform so young entrepreneurs can put their unique skill sets to work making an impact in their local communities.

This past weekend, I went to see "The Great Gatsby." I had read the book in high school, but I never really got into it. However, I REALLY wanted to see the movie to spot out all the amazing 20's jewelry and fashion in the movie. Everything was so gorgeous! I especially loved all of Daisy's jewelry. I even have a huge bucket list board on Pinterest. Everyday, I drive passed the huge "Before I Die" chalk board (more info here ) it's right where you're about enter Old Bellevue. You really cant miss it. I always want to read the responses from everyone, so this past weekend my mama and I walked right up to it and wrote down what we would like to do before we die. It's so nice to see what everyone wants to do. In true blogger fashion,, I just had to have a mini photoshoot in front of the wall. Since the weather was so humid this past weekend, I went with a cute floral romper, (jcpenny) and yes, I even wore flat sandals, not heels. What would you write?

Chanel already has the the "hula hoop" Chanel purse (mentioned here), so it seems only right they would make a Chanel clutch that is a dead ringer as Legos, right? Oh and its only an exorbitant £5,370. Would you purchase this Lego clutch?

Some tips I learned from last nights Girl Power Hour.
• There is a shift happening in social platforms right now. It's visual obsession! Pinterest is huge, post and link everything.
• LinkedIn is still a recommended relevant social platform.
• Followerwonk.com is a GREAT tool for Twitter.
• check out Tagboard for hashtag tracking after #powersocial
• check out followerwonk.com getlittlebird.com and tagboard.com to monitor social media
• Engagement and sales are key indicators of good social media.
• Blogging adds credibility.
• Next big platform? Vine, Clip, Path. New platforms should all have four letters!
• Facebook is out, instagram is in!

Resort wear was all over the Bellevue Collection Spring runway, (mentioned here) and it has made me want to catch the next flight to Hawaii. But, after this weekend and the rest of this week, there is really no reason to travel 5 hours and 45 minutes. Seattle weather has been absolutely tropical! Another huge trend this Spring/Summer is all about the having the island fever; lots of tropical prints, floral motifs and blue everything. (Mentioned here) So, hop on this hot new trend. (Espically, this week)

They're just such an easy and flirty, chic ensemble. So, I thought I'd give maxi skirts a try. I'm quite short (5'4), I didn't want it to look like the maxi skirt was eating my body with the length. After, searching store to store and trying on multiple maxi skirts, I finally fell in love with this sheer maxi skirt! It's long enough to represent a maxi skirt but the sheer bottom doesn't make you look like a midget. Also, anything sheer is sexy and a top trend this Spring! (Mentioned here) You can find this maxi skirt at Nordstrom!
