Just wanted to share another exciting Fashion Week UPDATE!!
After careful review, the selection panel for the Independent Designer Runway Show, made up of local fashion leaders, selected six local apparel designers and two handbag designers to participate in the first ever Independent Designer Runway Show at Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection 2012!
Over the next few months, the designers will go through a process of mentorship from the panel with the end result of each designer presenting a six to eight look collection on the runway – cannot even wait!
Selected Designers: Anne Sylvain by Patricia Raskin, Ampersand As Apostrophe by Jessica Park, Bd Homme by Banchong Douangphrachanh, Built For Man by Francisco Hernandez, Carole McClellan by Carole McClellan, Kreati-ka by Kathy Sabin-Mensah, Masha Osoianu Design by Masha Osoianu, and Olga Szwed by Olga Szwed
September 26, 2012 the selected designers will join Seattle-area NBC’s Season One Fashion Star contestants Lisa Vian Hunter of Vian Hunter House of Fashion, and Lizzie Parkeralong with her partner Nicolas Bowes of Los Angeles, also a Fashion Star contestant, on the runway!
