Yesterday, the DVF band ambassador, Brittany Hampton, made a personal appearance to the DVF shop at Bellevue Square. If you didn't know already, Brittany was the winner of the TV show House of DVF. She's making visits all over at different DVF shops sharing all the beautiful DVF Spring/Summer trends. It was so nice meeting her and hearing and seeing all the hot new trends. Brittany, was telling me how she's off to NYFW next week and more traveling after that, she's keeping busy, but loves it, She's the sweetest. For trends, DVF S/S is gingham, all about pink, from baby pink to hot pink. Also, bold greens and off white! Oh and of course, all about those famous patterns. DVF (who i met here) even has created items for Chinese a new year and a Cupid dress for Valentine's Day! She thinks of everything! One of my many DVF favorites was the Jadeian dress! It's a trench coat material, perfect for the rainy Seattle Weather. Let's go G.N.O, Let's go, its a girls night! Last night was the Bellevue Fashion Week, Posh Party! I must say, they stepped it up majorly this year. Once you entered the event, they had beauty booths everywhere. If anyone needed a touch up, a massage, hair styled from Obadiah and Aveda, a manicure from inSpa, and makeup applications from Sephora or Macy's Estée Lauder or Benefit Cosmetics, They got you covered. To top it off, they had the ultimate photo booth to show off our fabulous selves! Now, to the show, the oh so stylish Lawrence Zarian hosted, and didn't disappoint. He was the best host, he introduced us to all of the Falls hottest trends and looks. The different trends they showed us were; Mod-ern Take, Code Red, Shear Genius, Necessary Knits, Plaid Perfect, Call for color, Tailor Made, and Exquisite Elements! Everything was gorgeous. Such a great fashion show. All proceeds from the Posh Party went to Bellevue LifeSpring, helping Bellevue children and their families for over 100 years. Let me say, The Posh Party was the ultimate girls night out; hair, makeup, fashion, and wine. What more could a girl ask for! Click here to view more photos! Before the show, I got my a hair blowout at Obadiah o2 blow drybar. This was my first time there and after the appointment, I knew I found my new go-to blow dry bar! The service was impeccable and the stylists know the hair. Obadiah is the Eastsides first blow dry bar! Obadiah o2 blow drybar gives you that feeling, that look, that attitude with just a blow dry. I wanted a hair style that would last a longtime, so they blow out my hair into the perfect curls. I loved it, I got so many compliments on it! Seriously, I have found my new blow dry bar; Obadiah o2 blow drybar! Highly recommend it, next time you need a fabulous blowout or are in a rush and want to spruce up your hair, go to Obadiah!
Be sure to FOLLOW them on twitter & facebook & Instagram! Winter whites, braids, sixties-inspired, wide statement belts and knits! These trends are the fashion forecast for Fall 2014, according to Lawrence Zarian, a celebrity stylist and Cara Crowley from Vogue! Yesterday, I attended a press conference with them discussing the fall fashion forecast! I have met Lawrence and Cara the past few years and they keep getting more fabulous! (Here & here & here) Some of trends and tips they mentioned were "wear white all year (not a seasonal color) “if you’re a feminie girly girl, throw on something with a zipper to show a different side of you", "textured look is great for Fall", and "Everything is sixties inspired." Such great tips for Fall! Always a pleasure hearing from these two! Also, be sure to check out Lawrence Zarian new book!
