Let's go play on the playground, Washington's playground that is! Last week, I took a weekend getaway to the beautiful Lake Chelan. I love how you don't have to travel far to be in such a gorgeous vacation spot. I got to experience stunning views of the water, great weather, canoeing, tanning, and wine tasting throughout Chelans many wineries. What more could a fashionista ask for?

Once we got there we stayed in a fabulous Lake Chelan vacation property rental right on the water from My Chelan Vacation. It's a great alternative to a hotel because you have more room and it has more amenities such as a full kitchen. I pretty much lived out on the back deck/dock. My family and I spent the first day on Lake Chelan, tanning (or in my case, sunburning) and canoeing all over the lake, which surprisingly wasn't that cold, and watching the breathtaking sunset over the lake.

The next morning, we started off the day getting our yoga on at Yogachelan with yoga instructor Lynda. It was so nice! What's great about Yogachelan is that Lynda offers many different unique yoga classes like yoga at the wineries, and even yoga on a paddleboat! I mean you're on vacation to be relaxed, and adding some meditation to your trip is just the frosting on the cake.

After getting my zen on, of course, I had to go shopping! Chelan has the cutest little chic boutiques! Now, on vacations you're suppose to spoil yourselves, right!? So after shopping till I dropped, I headed over to Deep Water Salon and got their most amazing hot stone massage. Holy cow it was so amazing. I could just feel the tension in my muscles disappear. I strongly recommend that the next time you go to Chelan, you get a massage at Deep Water Salon. Everybody needs a massage to add to their fabulous weekend getaway or mini vacation! 

Lake Chelan has about two dozen wineries, so to end my best day ever, we went wine tasting at Tsillan Cellars Winary, they had the best sips around. Also, what's great about Tsillan Cellars Winary is they have a delicious restaurant, Sorrento’s, with mouth-watering Italian food, overlooking all of Lake Chelan. This was the perfect way to end a weekend getaway in Chelan: eating dinner and sipping on wine as the sun sets over Lake Chelan. What could be more perfect!

I can definitely see now, why they call Lake Chelan "Washington's Playground." It's such a great escape, and it's not far at all! Such a primo mini vacation spot or even weekend getaway, you can do everything at Lake Chelan. So fashionistas, will you be a chelanigan?
